I mean, a lot of people refer to Makina's route as the "Yuuji route" because it focuses on him, his backstory and his job more than it does on Makina. Whereas the other three focus more on the heroines themselves rather than the story. It's worth noting that Makina and Amane's routes are the ones written by the main writer and connected to the main plot of the series. They're just there to introduce you to the characters. If this is the case, then you don't really need to care about the first VN besides the world and character building, and all the characters past. And I think in Eden Yuuji does it with all the girls anyway. But in the two sequel VN, the "route" the anime followed is heavily implied to be the actual canon route, and the stuff that happened in the first VN is a hypothetical "what-if" scenario with the routes of the girls. However, in the anime Yuuji does this to all the girls without romantic interest.

My question is, how much of the the first season is canon to the full plot of all 3 of the VNs? In the Fruit of Grisaia VN, Yuuji solves the girls' problems depending on the route and is romantically involved with them. I remember that one very well from the anime. I have the general idea of the characters and their past, especially Amane. So, I've watched the anime, the 2 seasons and the 47 minute special, a while back.
